Job Description

Odyssean is seeking an Investor Relations Associate. The ideal candidate has sales and/or investor relations experience within the hedge fund, private equity, or venture capital industry.  The position will report to the General Partners and will be responsible for proactively developing, implementing and managing all aspects of marketing, capital raising, and investor relations initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and implementing investor outreach and providing support that effectively reflects the company’s performance and investment value. The successful candidate must be resourceful, proactive and have a strong ability to problem solve and multi-task.

 

The Candidate will be responsible for:

• Sourcing new investors, lead generation, qualifying investor leads, and managing the investor onboarding process

• Facilitating prospective investor follow ups, management of investor requests and materials

• Providing insight on investor trends and marketing ideas

• Preparing meeting notes for marketing and investor meetings

• Generating monthly marketing reports and distributing reports to potential investors

• Preparing data, reports, and other required materials for meetings with investors

 

Desired Skills & Experiences

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong interest in digital assets and demonstrated financial acumen

• Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, global environment

• Strong academic background

• Experience in consultancy or any investment firms will be preferred

• Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills 

• Must be a self-starter who has proven ability to cultivate relationships and help improve overall client relationship process/structure 

• Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy 

• Extensive knowledge of hedge fund strategies and analytical methodologies is advantageous

Compensation is a combination of equity and profit sharing.

​

This role is location independent. Odyssean cannot, at this time, sponsor a U.S. work visa, and thus candidates intending to work from the U.S. must have residency status there.
